A

Ever wonder about how the backup works? Or maybe what is it for? What does it do? I’m here to show you that. So Let’s talk about it and get an idea of how it works.

Generally speaking, there are 2 types of backup available in the app. The first one is the “Manual Backup” and the second one is the “Automatic backup & Sync”

Manual Backup

Let’s know more about the first option which is the Manual Backup. This option is available to all users whether premium or free. This option allows users to export a backup file from the app to be saved locally in the phone’s storage and you can also have it emailed to yourself after saving for additional backup.

• Here are the steps on how to manually export a backup file from your app.

First tap on the Tools Tab.

B

Then scroll down and tap Manual Backup.

C

On this screen tap, export to “Folder/SD card” then tap “Select” on the pop-up screen.

D E

Select the folder where you would like to save the backup file, then tap “ALLOW ACCESS TO”

F

On the popup message tap “ALLOW” again to complete the save.

G

Another pop-up message will display the message that says “Data successfully exported!” and it will give an option to send via email.

We recommend sending the file to your own email address as it will serve as an additional backup. To do that tap “SEND VIA EMAIL” Then select the Email app or Gmail or whichever app you wish to use.

H I

A pre-composed message will be placed and all you need to do is to type in the email where you wish to send the file. Then tap send.

Auto Backup & Sync

First, let’s talk about what is Auto Backup & Sync and what is it for? How does it work? How to enable the Auto Backup & Sync? Is it available to everyone?

Automatic backup & sync is one of many features that users get when they become premium users.  It is the counterpart of the manual backup wherein instead of manually exporting a backup file data is automatically uploaded to the cloud when enabled by the user.

• Here are the steps on how to enable Auto backup & sync.

Tap your avatar located on the upper left of the screen then tap Settings.

P Q

Scroll down and locate “Auto Backup & Sync” tap the toggle switch to enable this feature.

P.S.

The app allows users to export an Excel file from the app for backup purposes. However, excel is not considered as a complete backup as it doesn’t save Photos.
