The wait is over! We understand that many have been waiting to see this in the Weight Diary App.
Everyone wants privacy and data protection so, we have decided to add another layer of security in addition to the PIN lock of your device, a screen that will require users to enter a PIN before opening the app completely. We understand that not anyone wants someone to freely access your app and see weight records, and photos that you might have saved on your phone.
I won’t take it any longer so, let’s get started. First, make sure your app is updated to the most recent version because the lock screen feature is available on version 3.7.8 and up.
Once you have updated the app to the most recent version, the next thing is to open it, and you will land on the Overview page so, all you have to do is tap the profile settings icon as shown in the picture.
Once in profile settings, you will see different options available in the app. Scroll down, and you will see the option that says “Lock Screen”. Tap the toggle switch to enable it.
The next screen, “Set Pin”, is where you will type the 4-digit pin that you wish to use on the app. You will be required to enter it twice to confirm.
In the end, you will see a confirmation message as in the picture.
Oh, and hey! Did you know that the lock screen also syncs with your phone’s biometrics? So if you unlock your phone using a fingerprint, the Weight Diary App’s lock screen will adapt that.
