It is suggested to export a backup every once in a while so that if ever you change phone or something happens to the phone you will have an updated backup handy. 

 

• Here are the steps on how to export a backup file.

 

First, tap on Profile settings then scroll down and locate “Import/Export backup”

Tap Export to “Folder/SD Card”

On the popup message tap “Select.

Select/locate the folder where you would like the backup file to be saved and then tap “ALLOW  ACCESS TO” at the lower part of the screen. Then tap “Allow” on the popup message.

Once done a popup message will appear confirming that “Data is successfully exported” with an option to send via email. 

It is also suggested to send the backup file to your own email to serve as an additional backup file.

The app allows users to export an Excel file from the app for backup purposes. However, excel is not considered as a complete backup as it doesn’t save Photos.

 

• How to Restore a backup file

To recover a backup file from this screen with the popup Welcome option, tap “Restore Data”

And another popup message will show up select Restore data from “Folder/SD Card” then tap select.

Locate the folder where the backup file was saved. Then tap the file.

Wait time may vary while restoring data depending on the amount/volume of the backup file.

Once done a popup message will confirm that the “Data is successfully Imported” .
